In search of water
This group (two women - one with a child - and a man) are bringing their donkeys to the lake to drink. Contrary to popular belief, the lake's alkaline waters are drinkable, even for humans, although its soapy taste and feel is unpleasant, and presumably none too good for the stomach in the long-run. Still, animals have no problems with it, even cattle, which I saw being watered in the lake north of Loiyangalani.
