So which one's me?
Note that the three smiling Paranthropus on the right are also known as Australopithecus, and are considered by some to be direct ancestors of ourselves (ie they'd go between Australopithecus afarensis and Australopithecus africanus). Or perhaps not - the experts change their minds with every new find, it seems - so I haven't even considered updating the chart.
