In most respects similar to their Kenyan cousins, the Tanzanian Maasai are distinguished by their black or dark blue cloaks, whereas the Kenyan Maasai invariably go for red. If anyone has information as to the significance of the necklaces and ear-rings she is wearing, I'd love to know.
