We shall lead them (Nitukumatongoria)

Thikiririai-i
Thikiririai-i andu aya

Tukamatongoria
Tukamatongoria

Tukamatongoreria gacirari
Cianjue agatigwa agiokothaga ndigi

Muthanje wi nthunu uregere
Kaviu kai mnthunu karegere

Njamba nene irire
Njamba nene irire nerire

Methori mengi mengi
Methori ma nthaka

Methori ma mwita
Manginyondokia ngwaci

Wana wamona na njira
Twa onthe makagurwa na mburi

Amwe makagurwa na mbaki yeniuru
Naengi magurwe na runi

Nthu ingiuka ni vakuvi
Ningiumbuthuka nduru

Ningiurara nthu iri thome
Aka na arume magege

Mundu muka ndendetwe
Ta gacau ka ng'ombe

Nwakwa aciaraga ariu
Nyombetai arume ikona giagwitiira

Ningikatia avai
Ningikatia avai muruaiya akanora?

Ningikatia avai twone ngeci ya ndundu
Twitiage na ngombe cietu?

Oh! Listen
Oh! Listen you people

We shall lead them
We shall lead them

We shall lead them on the path
We shall leave Cianjue weaving fibers

The reed skirts on waists will loosen
The knives tied on the waists will loosen

The brave warrior will cry
The brave warrior will cry and cry

Many many tears
Tears of a young man

Overflowing tears
Which can quench the thirst of sweet potatoes

Even if you see them walking along the road
Not all of them will have goats paid for them

Some of them will have nose snuff as dowry
And some will be married on loan

If any enemy attacked while I was near
I would rush out naked

I would kill any enemy in the homestead
Till men and women wonder

A woman is not loved
Like a cow's calf

It is only that she bears sons
So that a house without men gets a source of pride

What can I do my friend?
What can I do my friend to grow fat?

What can I do to find the time for consultation
Boasting about our cattle?
